Covid-19 Relief Grant
The Development Corporation of Haskell is offering a COVID-19 Relief Grant as part of the CARES ACT funding. The City of Haskell qualified for a grant of $180,000. Twenty-five percent of those funds can be used for small business grants.
Businesses affected by the COVID19 mandatory shut down can now apply for a grant through the DCOH. Businesses must fill out an application to be considered. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. Applications will be reviewed by the DCOH Board of Directors at the August 14, 2020, meeting.
The DCOH has earmarked $45,000 that will be granted to local businesses. The maximum a business can apply for is $2000. Businesses who were forced to shut down completely or partially by the governor’s executive order will be given priority. Also, those who lost business due to COVID19 will be given priority. There are some stipulations that apply. Please review the application for more details.
