City-Wide Curbside Bulk Pick-up
Pickup starts Monday, July 22.
Bulky items should be placed in front of your residence near the curb and not in the
alley. Bulk pickup includes, but is not limited to, large bulky items such as sofas,
mattresses, tables, doors, and other large household items. It also includes items such as carpet,
outdoor furniture and toys, rolled-fencing, and household appliances and electronics. Freon must
be removed from all appliances.
Items that are NOT acceptable bulk pickup items and that SHOULD NOT be placed on
the curb in front of your home include, but is not limited to, hazardous and commercial waste and
chemicals, tires, batteries, household trash, construction materials, concrete, clothing, and green
waste (brush/trees and limbs/yard waste).
Placement of Bulky Items:
• Bulky items must be placed at the edge of the curb in front of your residence, but not in the
street.
• Do not place on the sidewalk or in a manner that will interfere with vehicular or pedestrian
traffic.
• Do not place within 5 feet of a mailbox, fence or wall, water meter, telephone connection box,
parked cars, fire hydrant, utility pole, or traffic sign.
• Do not place under low hanging tree limbs or power lines, in an alley, or in front of a vacant
lot or business.
• Do not place on the curb more than 2 days prior
