Work Remotely, Work in Haskell

By Jimi Coplen, DCOH Executive Director

If there has ever been a time for small towns in Texas to shine, it is now. Many people are working from home with no clear date on when or if they will return to the office.

And many companies are realizing the cost savings. No large buildings and overhead to maintain, equals huge savings to their bottom line. They have learned to maneuver management and collaboration issues out of necessity. Many employees are happier. No long commutes and flexible schedules allow employees to better manage family activities. This is proving to be a successful tool in the workplace.

Remote work allows you to work from anywhere. And the DCOH wants you to consider doing it in Haskell! Haskell is ready for you. High-speed internet, great schools, and medical facilities make Haskell ideal for calling home.
Haskell has beautiful homes on the market, and there is plenty of land available for building. There are also opportunities for new business ventures.

If you are still having to go into the office, there is another opportunity to consider it. The DCOH would love to help your employer create a satellite location in Haskell. We can help them overcome obstacles such as workforce, logistics, and more. Haskell is a central location between Abilene and Wichita Falls. But, it also a great location between Lubbock and Dallas and Oklahoma City and Midland/Odessa.

If the pandemic has given you the option to work remotely, we hope you will do it in Haskell. If it has not, give us a call and let’s talk about bringing a satellite office to Haskell. For more information, check out our website at www.haskelltexasusa.com or call 940-864-3424.
